Drawing Rules and Conditions
No participant has to be present to win, although
all participants are encouraged to be present on the day of the drawing. Participants agree to abide by all rules and laws of
South Carolina and, by the purchase of one or more tickets as outlined
herein, agree to abide by these rules as set out for this drawing. No person under the age of eighteen (18) years shall
be eligible to purchase a ticket or to have said vehicle titled in said
person's name. In addition, the winner of the drawing shall be
personally responsible for all expenses associated with tag, title, and
sales tax on the vehicle. All arrangements for title, tag, and tax
shall be handled directly between Gary Russ Chevrolet, Oldsmobile,
Cadillac and the winning participant. Emerald shall have no
obligation to the participant for these services. Further,
participant may be responsible for federal and state income tax as the
winner on the value of said vehicle. Participant agrees that
Emerald, The Welch Law Firm, LLC and Gary Russ Chevrolet, Oldsmobile,
Cadillac have not been asked to give, nor have employees of these
organizations given, any advice as to taxation of the Truck. Each
participant is encouraged to pursue advice from his or her own tax
advisor as to potential tax liability. Emerald shall not be responsible for any lost,
stolen or mutilated drawing ticket. Further, Emerald shall be
entitled to require the winning participant to furnish verification of
the ticket purchase and proper identification to show compliance with
all rules stated herein.
